Mr. Roberts is an experienced executive with over 30 years of senior leadership in highly successful direct marketing and multi-channel sales distribution companies. Over the course of his career, he has served as CEO or CFO, or has provided strategic oversight responsibility as an operating partner for, four private equity-backed or closely-held platform investments and has generated substantial returns for investors. He currently serves as the President of Roberts Consulting, a firm he founded that advises and invests in marketing-driven, multi-channel sales distribution companies. Roberts Consulting focuses on multi-channel sales and marketing strategies, customer acquisition and retention programs, operational best practices, acquisition integration, business intelligence, and freight management and logistics. Through Roberts Consulting, Mr. Roberts has served as an operating partner and co-investor with Parallel Investment Partners as a part of their successful investment in Quartermaster. He also served as an operating partner for LogoSportswear, where he successfully positioned the company and led its eventual sale to CafePress. Earlier in his career, Mr. Roberts served in several capacities at Executive Greetings, a leader in the business-to-business direct marketing industry of customized promotional and business products, as it transitioned between different ownership groups. He initially served as Accounting Manager and Controller while the company was known as the Wheeler Group, and subsequently served as EVP and CFO after the company was acquired by Butler Capital. Under Mr. Robert’s leadership, Executive Greetings transitioned out of underperforming businesses, became the direct marketing leader in seasonal and everyday greetings cards, completed two dividend recapitalizations, and was successfully sold in 1999. Prior to Executive Greetings, Mr. Roberts worked at General Motors and NCR Corporation. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Southern Connecticut State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Dayton.
